Café Zimmerservice A sunny room with cordial service and a fine (breakfast) -menu

Room service - a promising word! It sounds like relaxed dining pleasure, breakfast in bed and friendly service that reads your every wish from your eyes.

Well, you do have to leave your bed for this room service - but that's not difficult when you're in a place like this. Here, the atmosphere is homely, the service is charming, the food is fine, and it has the perfect orientation so that the sun bathes the interior and the garden in front of it from the early morning.

This makes Café Zimmerservice the ideal place for breakfast. The coffee comes with creamy frothed milk and a small chocolate ball - a sweet gesture that has somehow gone out of fashion lately but which we still appreciate. The homemade iced tea and the fresh smoothies are also highly recommended - we especially liked the green "Detox & Power".

There is everything your (breakfast) heart desires: fresh croissants and pastries, egg dishes from organic free-range chickens, porridge with fruit, granola with yoghurt and honey, French toast and homemade cakes.

Also delicious: the sandwiches with toasted sourdough bread and the egg poached in olive oil on mashed potatoes - a dish we have never encountered in our long breakfast career! From lunchtime onwards, there is also a changing daily menu with hearty dishes - from French fish stew and Prosecco risotto to salads and soups.

Fresh, regional, organic. Just as Edske Ringers herself likes to eat. Born in the Netherlands, she runs Café Zimmerservice together with her husband, Roman Kulas. She does the cooking, he the service. Together they are passionate about what they do. Sitting in the sun, chatting and enjoying the excellent food is a great way to forget about time.  Conclusion: Much better than breakfast in a hotel bed!
