Lieben Wir Coffee enjoyment in Vienna's first coffee concept store

Colourful ceramics, hand-poured candles, fragrant organic soaps and fine coffee - Dani and Philip sell things they love. They opened their Coffee Concept store in Vienna's city centre in June. Away from the hustle and bustle but still centrally located, you can find everything for perfect coffee enjoyment here: from coffee beans and barista equipment to decoration and tableware for the coffee table at home.

"We wanted to combine our passions," Dani tells us. She is the creative one who is passionate about beautiful things. He is the coffee enthusiast who raves about roasts and the Italian coffee machine: "Customised, it's only available once in the world!" A real gem - white with bright orange details - on which Philip conjures up espresso with a thick crema and creamy flat white.

The dark-chocolate house blend comes from the Viennese roaster Rauwolf, and there are also regularly changing guest roasts from small companies. All that's missing is a "bit of something sweet" - croissants, cakes and muffins, vegan energy balls - and that's it for coffee enjoyment.

It took six months to transform the ageing shop - for more than 60 years, it was home to a men's bespoke tailor - into the inviting coffee oasis it is today. "We lost a lot of nerves in that time," Dani tells us with a laugh, "but it was worth it."

The interior was designed according to her ideas by the professionals at the interior design firm Schönstil. Simple wooden shelves and furniture, subtle colours, in the middle the elegantly curved white counter and in front of the window one of those beautiful high tables from which you can watch the passers-by. We love it!
