Levantine cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere: Servus Habibi is located near the central station in Ludwigvorstadt and convinces with fine specialities from the Middle East and an exuberant ambience.

That Munich's culinary scene has more to offer than Bavarian inns and top Italian restaurants is once again demonstrated by the multicultural quarter around the central station, better known as "Little Lebanon". There, in the Servus Habibi restaurant, guests are offered authentic cuisine from the Middle East - from hummus to falafel, labneh to baba ganoush and fattoush.

The successful, predominantly vegetarian-vegan food concept with Levant specialities comes from the owners Lucas Bechtle, Felix Busch and Gal Weissbach. The three are long-time friends ("Habibi") and come from different countries: Lebanon, Bavaria and Israel.

The best-off dishes from their respective homelands are served at Servus Habibi - created by chef Marvin Boerger and his team. Our favourites: The "Carrot Hummus" with caramelised carrot, pickled onion and salted almond, and the "Jerusalem Beef", an aubergine with beef, coriander, pine nuts and tahini.

This symbiosis of Levantine-inspired specialities makes the restaurant unique in Munich - even parts of the pottery are custom-made and are imported from Spain from a traditional pottery there. "Our classic bowls in "Servus Habibi" red are produced especially for us," explains owner Felix Busch.

The furnishings with Persian carpets, rattan accessories and colourful tiles also aim to give guests at Servus Habibi the feeling that they are not sitting in the heart of Munich but in one of the metropolises in the Middle East. Particularly charming: Bavarian hats and Israeli turbans serve as wall decorations.

The restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows also allow you to observe the hustle and bustle in Munich's "Little Istanbul" district, where tobacco shops are lined up with shisha bars and jewellery shops.

Since 2021, there has been a snack branch of Servus Habibi in the Glockenbach district. It, too, offers a modern interpretation of Lebanese-Israeli cuisine - and thus further contributes to Munich's culinary diversity.
