Frau Larsson in Winterhude Smaklig måltid!

There are lots of new Scandinavian cafes nowadays. All over Hamburg you can enjoy your latte macchiato in front of white panelled walls. But Frau Larsson is original. Anika Roschitz is half Swedish, her small, cosy cafe in a beautiful side alley in Winterhude stocks delicatessen and exquisite dishes from the Scandinavian Kingdom.

On the menu you can find Höstpanna (beetroot stew), Kåldolmar (cabbage roll), divine Örtagårdssås (yoghurt-herb-dip) and certainly Köttbullar. After having eaten the beautifully homemade Köttbullars, you’ll look at the meatballs at IKEA through different eyes. The ingredients are picked out carefully at the weekly farmer’s market, the food is traditional and creative.

The service is cheerful, child-friendly and relaxed. You don’t have the feeling to be in a Scandinavian cafe in Hamburg - you are actually in Sweden.
