My new favorite café has everything a real insider tip needs. It lies somewhat hidden, but is already so well known that the best seats are always fought for. And whosoever suggests meeting at Deli Kate on a sunny day will undoubtedly be rewarded with bright eyes.

The cafe can be found on a small side street in Eppendorf, not far from the enchanting Haynsparks. The cute paving tiles, the large cake counter, the open kitchen, and the ceiling-high shelves filled with every kind of delicacy create a cosy atmosphere and make it clear that someone with impeccable taste was at work.

The best part: There’s a double Deli Kate! Next to the actual cafe lies a small ice cream parlour that is a must-see in Eppendorf on hot summer days. I would travel miles for the lemon-buttermilk ice cream and coconut sorbet!
