The Bonvivant has been the talk of the town ever since it was awarded a Michelin star for the first time this year. However, the friendly team not only offers creative dishes and drinks, but they also like to pass on their knowledge. So this year, one door down, Studio 32 has sprung up in Goltzstraße 32, the Genusswerkstatt, where the team offers cooking and cocktail courses.
What once belonged together has now been reunited. On the walls of the freshly furnished Studio 32, you can still see the breakthrough that once existed to the rooms of Bonvivant. After all, the studio is in the same building, unmistakably with probably the most beautiful façade in Schöneberg. After being a second-hand shop for a long time, the premises are now part of the Bonvivant family.
The cooking courses that can be booked there are always familiar. With their usual charm, the kitchen and bar team introduce participants to the tricks of delicate dishes and drinks. The courses at Studio 32 are led by Johannes Schulze Mothes, who is enthusiastic about many things and always comes up with new classes. The cocktail courses are under the direction of bar manager Elias Heintz, but are led by the entire bar team depending on the time.
With space for up to 24 people at a time, Studio 32 is a good place for teambuilding events, Christmas parties and the like. Be it under the guidance of the Bonvivant team or as an event in its own right, for example, for tastings or training sessions. The separate entrance makes the location ideal for private parties. For courses with larger groups, the teams alternate, for example, between cooking and mixing. This way, one half can get active while the other enjoys a few drinks outside.
The portfolio of cooking courses is diverse. While currently, the Mediterranean menu is slowly going into its winter break, the autumn and winter menu is coming into play. Pasta cooking classes, burgers and even tacos are in the pipeline. There is also a diverse range of cocktails. There are classic and non-alcoholic courses, but also those for drinks made from seasonal ingredients.
The tasting of the results takes place afterwards in a family atmosphere, either at the round table in the back room of the Bonvivant, at the tables in the studio itself or outside in good weather. The Studio 32 can be rented throughout the week; for large groups, it is also possible to have the cooking and cocktail courses held in an external location.
