More than 20 years ago, the American Cynthia Barcomi opened the café and coffee roastery on Bergmannstraße in Kreuzberg. Inspired by a café in her American home town of New Haven, she bought a roasting machine and laid the foundation for the Berlin coffee culture we enjoy today.
In addition to the home-roasted coffee, the delicacies served here since then are precisely those that have made Cynthia Barcomi probably the most popular American in Berlin: Cookies, Muffins, Bagels, Cinnamon Rolls, New York Cheesecake and and and. Whether for breakfast, lunch or just in between - the café suits any time of day.
