Ornella Bar & Restaurant Japanese-Italian fusion cuisine at Platzl

Decision-making may not be everyone's strong point, especially when it comes to choosing the country's cuisine. For example, would you prefer Italian or Japanese today? Fortunately, the choice between truffle pasta and sushi does not arise at the new Ornella Bar & Restaurant on Platzl, where the focus is on an exquisite combination of cuisine.

The restaurant, which opened at the end of 2022 and is named after the Roman actress Ornella Muti, combines Italian dishes and Japanese classics. That means: Pinsa and pasta with an Asian twist are on the menu as well as nigiri and sashimi - and they taste great.

The culinary offer is complemented by seafood and grilled specialities such as branzino with Thai asparagus and filet mignon with yuzu herb butter, along with side dishes (tip: truffled mashed potatoes!).

And tasty desserts such as the tiramisu with nashi pear or the yuzu tartelette with lemon thyme sorbet are also a successful symbiosis of Far Eastern and Mediterranean flavours. Conclusion: extravagant and unique!
