Lunettes Selections Exclusive Designer Glasses in Charlottenburg

The new branch of Lunettes Selection in Charlottenburg is a true design wonder. It couldn’t have turned out any other way. The concept was expanded by the architect and designer Oskar Kohnen, who has already styled spaces on Torstraße for the anniversary. In the third outpost of the eyewear specialist he’s combined minimalist restraint with a handful of design furniture classics. It shouldn’t surprise at all then, that the shop has been nominated for this year’s “Dezeen Award”.

Especially the pastel green closet catches the eye, which stretches all the way up to the ceiling. In its many drawers you’ll find the many special spectacle frames, that can only be found at Lunettes Selection. That’s because all of them are vintage, made from old stock from makers, opticians, and designers from around the world. The offering is extended by the shop’s own creations, which are produced in Italy. Here you’ll find true originals and new favourites.

In the Ku’Damm shop, the focus is especially on exclusive sunglasses and big brands like Dior or Yves Saint Laurent; the frames of Theo Eyewear from Antwerp are found exclusively here. But eye tests and the cutting of spectacle lenses are also undertaken here, in the no less beautiful refraction room.
