Inanna Wellness Gentle Transformation in Mitte
Inanna Wellness in Charlottenstraße in Berlin-Mitte, just a few steps from Gendarmenmarkt, was named Germany’s Day Spa of the Year in 2024 and 2025 by the international World Spa Awards. The philosophy behind its reputation has a clear name: gentle transformation without trauma.
The atelier is run by a team of experienced therapists under the professional direction of Chantal Däumig. The work follows its own signature approach, the Inanna Method. Its guiding principles are precision, privacy, and presence. Every treatment begins with a careful assessment of the skin, scalp, or body, depending on the focus. This is followed by a conversation about what is currently needed.
Hands-on work lies at the centre; technology is added where it truly contributes. Facial treatments are what the house is most frequently recommended for, ranging from Japanese Kobido massage to Sculptural Face Lifting. In bodywork, it is the Esalen massage and manual lymphatic drainage that have many returning for years. Diagnostic work on the scalp and hair is among the rarest offerings in Germany.
The house also offers two further pathways to support skin and hair. Interval breathing with alternating oxygen phases works on the mitochondria. HCK micronutrients are a bespoke Swiss formulation, individually composed and acting via the gut. Three pathways complement each other, depending on what the body needs at any given time: from the outside, from within, and via the gut.
In the lounge, cream-coloured armchairs stand at marble tables topped with fresh flowers, while large-scale abstract paintings decorate the walls. Behind each door lies a separate room; every session remains completely private, with sufficient spacing between appointments.
Hair removal forms a distinct focus of the house. Laser and electrolysis are the two methods; for electrolysis, Inanna is considered a leading address in the city. Two additional programmes are part of the house’s work. MamiSpa supports pregnancy and postnatal recovery. OncoSpa opens a space for touch and rest during sensitive phases.
The starting point is a consultation for 50 euros, which is credited towards the first treatment. Most often this leads to one of the Inanna Facial Journeys, lasting between 60 and 130 minutes. Everything else unfolds through conversation.
