Let's be honest: Which vegetarians and vegans have not heard this question: What do you actually eat without meat? The idea that animal-free dishes are bland is, of course, complete nonsense, as most of us have known for a long time. But if you still want to convince yourself of the unlimited creative possibilities of vegetarian and vegan cuisine, you can now do so at The NOname - and from the hands of several top chefs.
In August, Chef Tim Tannenberger is changing the menu to vegetarian and vegan dishes. "For me, vegetarian and vegan cuisine is more than just a trend. As chefs, we are responsible for making plant-based cuisine more popular and attractive. We achieve this by giving vegetables the starring role when developing dishes, rather than fobbing them off with the understudy. By offering a wide range, the right quality and the intended use of preparation methods, we can now prepare vegetable-based cuisine that can absolutely compete with omnivorous cuisine. Because let's face it: vegetables rock!"
To this end, he invites a guest chef each Thursday in August to jointly serve elaborate menus in eight courses and eight drinks. Four from Tim Tannenberger and theNOname and four from the respective guest chef. The first vegetarian course will be served on August 4th 2022, with Nikodemus Berger from Bonvivant.
Sebastian Leyer from Gut Boltenhof will follow on August 11th, also vegetarian. After that, it will be vegan, on August 18th with Michael Müller from Oukan and on the 25th with Christopher Jäger from Volt. The reception starts at 6:30pm, and dinner begins promptly at 7 pm.
