Admittedly fashion is one of my favorite topics, which is why I was especially pleased to make the acquaintance of Monika Wildi, founder and owner of FashionVestis last week. For months now, I have repeatedly surfed the pages of the Swiss Premium Online Fashion Shop and have been inspired by new trends.
The brand selection at FashionVestis is handpicked and very trendy. There are many international, and mostly French brands such as Tara Jarmon, Paule Ka, See by Chloé and Vanessa Bruno (new for spring/summer 2015), and very exciting, emerging Swiss labels. A highlight is the Zurich fashion label "LBD Little Black Dress", founded in 2009 by two designers Eliane Diethelm and Joanna Skoczylas, who have since then created simple and elegant dresses for many occasions.
I have, by the way, been particularly inspired by the celebrity looks that are shown on FashionVestis, which can easily be copied by perusing the trend pages of the online store. My current favorite look is of the British model Kate Moss, wearing a new star-print blouse from "Equipment" combined with black jeans from the LA cult label "Paige". "Effortless chick" - exactly how I love it!

That precisely this combination can be ordered online at FashionVestis is owing to Monika's intuitive grasp of what’s trendy. Of course, I’d also love to know from her the latest trends and upcoming new arrivals on their online boutique. It turns out that the leather pants from "Paige" are also her favorite – she greeted me in these, combined with a casual denim blouse, classic brogues and a sparkling statement necklace by Tara Jarmon.
For next season, Monika has more selected brands for us to look forward to including noble jeans brand "Current Elliot", a selection from rocking label "IRO" and a selection from "Paul & Joe's" runway collection. All will be available in Switzerland exclusively on FashionVestis. Monika also likes to offer a personal consultation service, advising possible combinations or "a favorite look of the season", having a high regard for all stylish women. Consultations can be either by phone or on location at their storeroom at Zurich's Schwamendingen.
It's clear that FashionVestis is Switzerland's first premium online trend-boutique, offering a great wealth of background information on fashion trends and brands. The young company was also selected this year as a finalist for the most innovative Swiss startup. Regardless, fashionistas highly recommend the online store!
