To make this fantasy come true, all you have to do is make a simple phone call – to get an appointment at TIGI Flagship Salon in Hamburg's Hafencity. MITO Hairgroup founder Michele Grasso opened up his futuristic shop in 2012, directly at the Unilever Building and next to the Marco Polo tower.

Upon entering, customers are welcomed by an entire color changing LED wall, a comfortable reception lounge and the friendliest staff. MITO Hairgroup encompasses three more salons that Michele Grasso and his brother are managing these days. As a member of TIGI Creative Team he participates regularly in international fashion shows and knows exactly what style will be on in the following season. Short, edgy cuts, rock rebell, long 60s style hair and pixie cuts are what we can expect this year.

I am glad that I let go off those over-the-top massage loungers, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten to enjoy Michele's artistry. His hands transformed my shaggy waves into a peppy, sleek and shiny hairstyle. Thankfully, there are countless mirrored windows along the way to my car that gave me just as many opportunities to fancy myself for a second.
