When the ice cream parlours close in winter, they have to consider a new interim use for their premises every year. In the case of Luicella's in Eppendorf, since mid-October, this has been the Gleem Atelier with the very special delicacies of the natural patisserie and the fine works of art by Katharina Klimza.
Anna Gliemer has been enriching the world of healthy snacking with her Gleem natural patisserie since 2015. After being diagnosed with a number of intolerances, she decided to produce wholesome and delicious pastries and chocolates not only for herself but also for others. Without industrial sugar, gluten-free and without animal products, but with all the more creativity and finesse.
Until now, however, Gleem's delicious sweet treats were only available to buy from the online shop. This has now changed, as Anna Gliemer opened her first pop-up store in Hamburg-Eppendorf on 14 October. Where tasty ice cream made hearts beat faster during the summer, fine natural baked goods and exquisite chocolates have now found their way into the store.

But that's not all: from Friday to Sunday, savoury dishes from Anna's cookbook "Green Table & Natural Pastry" are also on offer for lunch. Guests can look forward to highlights such as natural chocolates and mini French rolls, as well as exciting winter dishes such as baked apples with raw and baked gingerbread crumble and courgette and vanilla sauce.
In order to make the pop-up store not just a gastronomic experience but a holistic one, the interior has also been specially curated for Gleem. It is not for nothing that the pop-up is called Gleem Atelier. Artist Katharina Klimza has painted and selected pictures especially for the Gleem Atelier, that match the atmosphere of fine dining and contemporary art.
The premises are, therefore, ideally used to offer a holistically cosy dining experience during the cold season. To ensure that the evenings don't go to waste, there are various events on selected evenings: Next up are the Wild Winemaker Tastings on 16 and 30 November. The Gleem Atelier is open until 29 February 2024.
