Noma The world's best restaurant

This article might end up getting you a bit upset after reading it. This story is about the worlds best restaurant: noma in Copenhagen and chances are you never get lucky enough to eat there. 

noma is specialized in 'new nordic food' which means all ingrediens are locally produced and the name noma is naturally a mix of nordic and mad (food in danish). How great is that?! In an effort to shape our way of cooking, we look to our landscape and delve into our ingredients and culture, hoping to rediscover our history and shape our future.

noma is situated in the charming district of Copenhagen called Christianshavn at the Island Amager. The restaurant was founded by Claus Meyer and René Redzepi back in 2003 and since then it has been named not once - but three times the worlds best restaurant! Most recently it was named the best restaurant April 2014.

So let’s book a table you might think. And yes, that would be just wonderful to experience the world’s best chef’s preparing you delicious dishes while you enjoy drinking spectacular wines. But it is so not possible. Ever since the first time noma was named the world’s best restaurant back in year 2010, the restaurant has been pre-booked months in advance.

Your best luck getting a reservation is by booking a lunch at noma. Lunches are not pre-booked for as many months in advance as the dinner seating. So I wish you best of luck with your reservation. I'll let you know if I get 'in'.
