Manzel Lebanese Cuisine meets Urban Coolness

Pretty soon I’m off to my favorite destination in the world: New York City. I’m going back for the 6th time and I cannot wait. Whenever I visit The City, I always go to Spice Market in MEPA. I love the restaurant, the food and the atmosphere! Last week I went to Manzel in Copenhagen – an amazing restaurant in the center of Copenhagen serving Lebanese food. This place reminds me so much of Spice Market in New York.

Manzel is decorated so nicely and they have a huge bar, a lounge area for drinks and DJ’s in the weekend. Manzel means ‘home’ in Lebanese – and this for sure the feeling you have at the restaurant and lounge area. To get started I had a pomegranate mojito in the lounge area with my friend. Soon after we were seated in the restaurant we chose the small set menu with 14 dishes because we wanted to try a great variety of all the Lebanese specialties.

Everything is so well prepared the service is so personal and exquisite at this place. In the spring and summer you can enjoy the outdoor seating of the restaurant – I cannot wait to come back to this place and enjoy more exotic flavors and amazing drinks. Overall Manzel is great to meet with a group of friends and enjoy a few drinks or for a nice dinner during the week if you want to spice up your life a little.
