Voo Store
Oranienstraße 24
10999 Berlin-Kreuzberg
.How to get there
A store that's been written and talked about in magazines like Vogue and Elle surely is no secret anymore, but we will mention it nevertheless. The shop in question could easily be located in New York or London, and even in Berlin you'd much rather expect it to be situated in the city's hip Mitte district rather than in the middle of good old Kreuzberg.
The store is anything you'd call hip these days but maintains its very own character due to its location and product selection. Affordable brands like Cheap Monday get mixed naturally with more upscale ones like A.P.C., Acne or Wood Wood. Trippy Kenzo creations, with tiny tiger head-shaped buttons are staged seamlessly together with calmer fashion by Carven. Sneakers ranging from Nike and New Balance to Puma stand next to backpacks by Essl and Raf Simons.
Classic horlogerie by Daniel Wellington and jewellery by Maria Black caught my attention, as well as an unusual selection of books, a variety of scented candles by French label Mad et Len and world renowned Stutterheim rain coats. And yet, Voo store has much more to offer, from glasses, bags and beauty products to interior decor. Berlin-based Brandstifter Gin and Our/Vodka are available as well.
And to finish the picture, there's a small café that serves delicious coffee and sweet snacks that can be devoured in the picturesque backyard during the warmer season. Berlin live!
