Long nights are nothing new in the former school near Alexanderplatz. Besides, the name ‘The Grand’ stands for a mix of club, bar, and restaurant. As if that weren’t enough, the former school is also an event space with a special esprit: shabby-chic, culinary zeitgeist, and no curfew. From sunrise to sunset, the house on Hirtenstrasse is one of the most exciting locations for conferences, seminars, and meetings.
A day might start with a morning meeting in the ‘Jägermeister Suite’. Lunch is served in the ‘Generation Riesling Suite’, which features a well-stocked bookcase. Plenary sessions are held in the light-flooded ‘Ballroom’. And an aperitif can be enjoyed at The Grand Bar. German-French dining is spearheaded by head chef Tilo Roth at The Grand Restaurant, before guests go dancing in the club: A change of scenery in a unique location.
The Grand is set within a historic building with 1,000 square meters to spare, spread out across several levels for events of up to 800 guests. Sit-down dinners, live cooking stations, buffets, flying food, entirely or partly: culinary freedom makes everything possible. Seminar guests are welcomed as part of the general crowd. Restaurant, bar, club, and a lounge terrace that opens up in the summer make this a vibrant destination for all kinds of guests.
