C 37 Kids Concept Store for Teens & Kids

Katja Born-Sabottka didn't know what she was getting into with her concept store for kids and teens C 37 on Choriner Straße in Prenzlauer Berg. But it’s been ten years and her passion for beautiful items clearly hasn’t waned.

"I wanted a store where kids between 6 and 16 years could still find cool clothes that are of high aesthetic and material quality," she says. Nevertheless, C 37 also has adorable products for babies and toddlers. Clothes. Accessories. Toys. Things you don’t find on every corner!

She places a lot of importance on high quality production and prioritises natural materials and craftsmanship. She manages a number of smaller, German labels that produce everything by hand in small orders. But she’s a fan of several French labels as well.

Such as Rose in April and Mimilou. – The furniture and filigrane objects by Petit Pan from Paris and the little gifts from the enchantingly cool accessory collection by Meri Meri are exceptionally brilliant. Not to forget the Obi Obi jewellery and barrettes. There are plenty of bits and bobs under 15 euro, which make for perfect presents.

Pieces from various kids fashion labels’ current collections- such as American Outfitters 74, McRoss, Coquito and Little Label, along with Noa Noa, Tapete, and Tumble N’Dry- hang from long rods. The coats and trousers by Eddi Pen have been a top seller for years. "Eddi Pen simply has the best down jackets," Katja Born-Sabottka swoons. "That’s why we sell them for up to eighteen-year-olds."

C 37 also offers a special service: Clothes can be taken home to try on and brought back if they don’t fit. It saves a lot of nerves and serves as a teaser for the online shop, which will be available early next year. Then you can rummage through all of the lovely items at C 37 around the clock. – Looking forward!
