72 hours Italy The True Italian Food Festival brings Italian lifestyle to Berlin

Deep-fried anchovies, courgette flowers filled with ricotta or - very Classico - spaghettoni alla carbonara, accompanied - certo - by a glass of spritz. Sounds delicious and unmistakably Bella Italia, doesn't it? Even if the sun has gone into hiding again this week, we're enjoying a 72-hour Italian summer holiday, at least from a culinary point of view - the True Italian Food Festival 2022 makes it possible.

From Wednesday, April 6th at 5 p.m. to Saturday, April 9th, 41 selected Italian restaurants throughout Berlin will be offering a culinary short trip. The event is taking place for the sixth time this year and focuses on authentic Italian food culture. 

For only 8 euros, the selected restaurants will each offer a small portion of a typical Italian speciality together with an Aperol Spritz, a glass of wine, a beer or a Crodino. Would you like a little preview? For example, at Glasweise in Kreuzberg, you can expect delicious fried courgette flowers filled with mozzarella and anchovies and a glass of wine. To participate, all you have to do is ask for the special "72 hrs True Italian Food" offer at one of the participating restaurants during the True Italian Food Festival; there is always a vegetarian or vegan option. In addition to this offer, the restaurants also serve their regular menu. Whether you then want to stay or move on to the next True Italian restaurant is entirely up to you. This is how to ring in the warm season!
