If you are looking for an impressive view of Lake Zurich and the surrounding mountains and, at the same time, want to indulge in culinary delights of a high standard, you will be delighted at La Muña. Here, in the second restaurant of the Hotel La Réserve Eden au Lac, things could hardly be more spectacular.

Japanese-Peruvian cuisine celebrates umami flavours with light and delicious dishes, while the rooms, decorated by star designer Philippe Starck, create an impressive, cosy atmosphere. Antique-looking furniture, a historic wooden floor and many maritime souvenirs are combined by him at La Muña with unusual objects from Zurich and all over the world. The two green roof terrace areas invite you to relax on comfortable sofas under large awnings and enjoy the delicacies served, as well as the magnificent view.

The menu offers particularly refined recipes: whether ceviche with red tuna, sesame and shiso or sashimi made of salmon or sashi beef, whether a grilled chicken teriyaki or a black cod with miso, here it is particularly easy to find out why the fusion of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine is so incredibly unique. The spectrum of flavours, from salty to sweet, combined with intense spices reveals a unique taste experience.

The drinks menu also impresses with delicious, tangy long drinks and a carefully curated wine list that challenges connoisseurs with 18 pages. La Muña, by the way, describes a legendary plant from Peru that is traditionally used against altitude sickness. To get to the extraordinary rooftop restaurant, however, you don't have to go quite so high. After all, it's on the 6th floor, stylishly accessible via a glass lift from the hotel lobby.
