Best of Street Food The Bite Club celebrates its 10th anniversary

Good street food is an integral part of every festival. But for the past ten years, Miranda Zahedieh has been turning the tables and hosting a dedicated street food festival that showcases the exceptional talents of the street food scene in Berlin and beyond.

There is better and worse street food, but the Bite Club has always brought together talented chefs to present their extraordinary bites. Over the years, many participants have achieved fame with their concepts.

All the more exciting that the anniversary party on 14 July will feature many of these big names who have shaped the history of the Bite Club and continue to do so. The participating cuisines are varied: the Schöneberger Jones Ice Cream, the vegan bites from Brammibal's, or Pakistani cuisine from Mama Shabs. There are old hands like Taco Qweens and Gimme Gelato, newcomers like Kebab with Attitude, and adventurous concepts like Mikrokosmos, which offers "original insect cuisine".

Whether you're a foodie or just an explorer, Bite Club's anniversary celebration offers a unique variety of flavours in a colourful open-air atmosphere. Founder Miranda Zahedieh combines several of her passions there. The design historian is also passionate about open-air parties, electronic music and good street food.

She also uses her festival as a platform to give young start-ups a chance in Berlin's gastro scene, especially those who have difficulties getting started in Germany due to the particular cultural approach of their concept or their migration background.

With live music by hip DJs and the finest street food, a colourful programme is guaranteed. The tenth-anniversary party will take place on 14 July at 5 pm in the Arena Berlin. Another date will follow on 18 August.
