"More is not possible". A comment from one of the many facebook friends of the Organic und Wellness Hotel Stanglwirt, describing his experience in the house, which has been in possession of the Hauser family for more than 100 years. And when I recall my impressions from yesterday evening with Stanglwirt hostess Maria Hauser-Lederer, I can fully concur with the comment.
Starting with a large range of pleasantly decorated rooms and suites, the five-star organic Stanglwirt hotel offers everything your heart desires for an idyllic holiday in Austria, from sports and spa to culinary delights.
Repose begins in the hotel rooms. All are decorated in the typical Tyrolean style and constructed with high quality organic materials such as arolla pinewood. The pine, also known as 'Arve', is said to be very soothing and for centuries has been known to have health benefits. A study by the University of Graz confirms that Arve wood not only has a positive effect on heart and circulatory problems, but also promotes socialization and relaxation - social extroversion - befitting farmhouse parlors.
For a more relaxing stay, Stanglwirt has an immense wellness area consisting of a superb spa, sauna, and a rock pool water world, direct from their own spring. Indoors there is a bowling alley, tennis courts, an indoor riding hall with private Lipizzaner studs, and a spacious gym. For those who prefer outdoors, the diverse activities, against the Wilden Kaiser backdrop, are unparalleled. Including a world-renowned tennis school, driving range with golf academy, private ski school, Nordic and guided hiking, well preserved hunting grounds, and much more.
Another highlight, much appreciated by families, is the variety of activities that Stanglwirt offers for children. In the children's farm the little ones can pet the ponies and rabbits, feed goats, find eggs, bake bread, jump in the hay barn and visit the popular cinema stable. A loving, all-day childcare is also available!
The Stanglwirt itself has many facets: from a traditional guest inn "Stangl", the cow shed, and the Stanglwirt Alm and agriculture with its own cheese production, their own source of drinking water and, not least, the legendary "Weisswurstparty" (white sausage party). A lot of things to experience whenever I'm here with the family.
