Let’s be honest - I have now reached my mid thirties and it has started to show on my face. I have a few fine lines around my eyes and dark pigment spots on my forehead. I’m not super happy about the changes starting to appear on my face but at the same time I would not consider to turn back the clock and have to re-live my twenties again. Well maybe. I did love the time I could eat a ton of bad food and the scale would not move an inch.
That being said – I love my face and I have started to love it even more with my growing number in age. I care a lot about what products I use on my face. I use a SPF 50 on my face every day - call me fanatic if you like - but I have realized after way too many hours in the sun it is a no go for my skin.
I was so delighted when a friend introduced me to a wonderful store called Isangs at Vesterbro. Sundra and Lasse founded the small but wonderful company and Sundra is the "mix-master" behind all Isangs' products. Sundra is a former human rights attorney who's been extracting herbs, making infusions, and developing hair and body products for nearly 10 years.
Every product you find on the shelves in the store is made and mixed by hand and all ingredients are organic and fair trade. For me this is what matters the most – it makes me feel good and I think it can be seen on my face if you look closely. Happiness makes you look 10 years younger but great face care can help you on the way.
