It’s been fifteen years since the art historian Oliver Rheinfrank opened the jewellery gallery Antique Jewellery Berlin on Linienstrasse, right next to fashion label Kaviar Gauche. Since then, the collection from 1750 through to the 1970s has become something of an authority, and has grown into what’s considered to be the largest selection of timeless, antique jewellery in all of Europe.

Truly every one of the jewellery pieces from the Art Nouveau, historicism or Biedermeier epochs, as well as unique Victorian, Georgian or Edwardian pieces, prove that no modern mass-produced product can even come close to the high quality works of art of these times.

Once designed to follow the latest fashion, even today the jewellery has the ability to transform almost any piece of clothing into a unique outfit. Whether it’s an engagement ring, a necklace or a pair of earrings, a brooch, a bracelet or a pair of cufflinks.
