Julia Lange is the creative mind behind her Charlottenburg-based manufactory teenytiny. Here, the artist, who first learned her craft at the art academy in Bremen, where she studied design, creates creative works of art from fabric and yarn. Charlotte the bunny was lovingly handcrafted in the same factory. By using different patterns and colours, each bunny is unique.
At first glance, the fabric creatures by Julia Lange may look like cuddly toys for children. But behind all the designs is the whole artistic interplay of Julia Lange's head, heart and soul. This means that her designs are not only created at the interface between toys and art but also attract the attention of international museums; for example, when Julia Lange designs a teenytiny figure to match an exhibition.
Incidentally, all the materials from which the figures are made come from controlled organic cultivation, are produced and dyed in a biologically gentle way, lined with organic cotton, and are even washable.
