Champagne-silver, coffee, milk and green tea - Gabriela Schneider has applied these colors with the furniture, wall, and the Sisal rug at her cosmetic institute Feel Beautiful at Seefeldstrasse 116. The warm hues provide a sense of refuge. Within minutes after I had entered the place, the stresses of daily life were long gone. But that’s not only attributed to the stylish interior, but also to the sunny disposition of the manager. You can tell she is a lover of all things exclusive and with that she wants to spoil the customer holistically - even your ears: for my treatment I can even choose the background music.
Gabriela is not only the boss - she has been a fully qualified beautician for 28 years. Since the early nineties she worked 15 years as CEO and owner of a cosmetic institute in Langenthal in canton Bern. She trains apprentices and was an expert for the final apprenticeship examinations in Bern and Aarau. In June 2015, her intern achieved the top grade and was awarded 1st place in Switzerland. The beauty professional has been successfully self-employed for the last 24 years.

Her customers include businesswomen and men, as well as familiar faces from show and television - all professionals who rely on her expertise. Gabriela's top priority: naturalness. Not only should the customer feel as if they’d been on holiday after a treatment, it should also look like it. She applies the professional products of Sisley and Babor, two luxury cosmetic lines, which she has been using for seven and thirty years respectively.
In order for Gabriela to offer a new treatment at Feel Beautiful, she needs to be 100% convinced about it. This is the case with the latest anti-aging treatment: Micro-needling. I want to mention that the micro, sterile disposable needles that allow the hyaluronic acid into the skin do not hurt. On the contrary, I found it almost ticklish. During treatment, the skin is supplied with moisture, wrinkles are plumped, skin functions are activated, blood circulation and skin regeneration stimulated. After which, my skin feels nice and plump – I personally had no redness, but certainly more relaxed facial features. I am thrilled with the effects, which I didn’t expect after just one treatment. Imagine how amazing the results will look like after five treatments?!
Finally, I sat down in one of the lounge sofas on the roof terrace and let the day while away. I can linger as long as I want to because I can slip away using the stairwell on my way out. So I no longer look at the time and imagine I’m on the roof of a splendid hotel somewhere far away.
