Steckerlfisch & Co. - Grilled Fresh Fish
It's a pity that you can't enjoy the remarkably tasty fish at Steckerlfisch&Co on a daily basis. You will only find Jürgen Fürgut on markets four days a week. But unavailability makes the heart and desire grow fonder, and so you'll find long queues waiting patiently in front of the Bavarian-born's grilled fish stand from Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Mainly mackerels, and the occasional Bavarian trout from his own breeding, some sea bass, Arctic charrs, pike-perch and pike fillets are being munched away on by the growing fan base. If you're lucky, you'll even get to try fresh squid or shrimp skewers.
