Schlosshotel Grunewald - Where the Emperor has once slept
In 1912 the Schlosshotel Grunewald was built for a lawyer. The emperor was a frequent visitor and later English officers came to stay. When it was turned into a hotel in 1951, guests like Robert Kennedy, Josephine Baker, Peter Ustinov and Errol Flynn all visited.
Romy Schneider had two of her weddings at this extraordinary location. It smells like warm wood and in every corner you can notice beautiful details. I think this is one of the most beautiful hotels in the city. A bit dreamy, very intimate and full of beautiful details.
