Maki to go A new snack on Torstraße

There has been a new kind of snack on Torstraße for a couple of weeks. The rice rolls are called Maki and they are offered in number 95 following the Australian model. You can also get homemade soups from Suppen Cult there.
These maki rolls are different from the classical sushi as they combine the typical richly prepared rice and various specialties of other countries: New delicious combinations like Italian rolls with dried tomatoes or BLT rolls with crunchy bacon are offered for example - I must confess, I was sceptical but they really taste fantastic!
Less experimental guests also find yummy classic ones like shrimp or salmon rolls. To prevent the others ingredients flavours neutral vegetable leaves are often used instead of the classic nori sheet. A variety of yummy dips come with the makis and on top of it - it´s healthy! Enjoy your meal! Or as the Japanese would say: Itadakimasu!
